I love bread

The amount of bread which is thrown away every day in Vienna, could provide for the entire city of Graz. This situation is not only ethically and economically problematic – food production, along with housing and mobility, is also one of the largest causes of environmental pollution.
Kathrina Dankl concieved a project, which not only reduces bakery waste but also plays an important awareness raising role. With support from Departure she formed a team of business and design (a.o. Angieneering | Angie Rattay and Alessia Celentano) which together with the bakery Felzl are engaged in an exiting and interdisciplinary experiment.
